2007 National Solo Competition finalist Brett Gardner with his teacher, John Parris, and former student Ben Pila
Selected contestants from the National Semi-Final round will compete live for awards and prizes at the final round, which will take place during the ASTA National Conference in Atlanta, GA from March 19–23, 2009. The recorded competition format is a terrific opportunity for students to work on building a refined recording archive of their playing.
